I absolutely love the first quilt .... if you look at it long enough you see circles ........and the colors are super wonderful ! I made the second quilt in the same exact pattern six or so years ago too and hand quilted it. Was funny to see my quilt there !

You make beautiful quilts Don and turn out a lot of them. A couple of questions, does anyone else in your family sew? Where did you learn? Do you have any UFO's. Nosey people want to know :wink:

Holy cow! I am in the process of making my first quilt and hand quilting on yours blows me away. I am in awe. It is certainly a skill I hope I can attain somewhere in the same solar system as yours.

Don, I love your hand quilting. I admire people that do hand quilting. I don't have the patience for it. Love the 1904. I love quilts that have the illusions of circles and want to do one day. I might try this one, but there is one patch (well 4 of them) that I am not crazy about doing. I had 3 blocks in my star BOM last year that had this patch. I am talking about the patch that makes the points. I did learn to make the outer pieces (points) larger and trim down to size.
