I agree with karenm36. Maybe you could do one per month & in 10 months you would have 12 total for a stunning quilt. They are GORGEOUS blocks. :)

Either would stand alone as a centerpiece - you could surround each with some simpler blocks and great sashing. OR if you're in a quilt group, use it as the beginning block that you 'pass on' to another quilter to add the next design, then to another until it get's to a size you all agree on. Then, draw straws to see who get's to keep it! OR if you didn't like them (but can't believe that would be the case!), finish them ala log cabin (or any design that you add to the edges) and donate them to a Veteran's project - there are lots out there right now, and they would be thrilled to get such a beautiful tribute to their service. But I wouldn't abondon them!

Beautiful blocks! Finish the quilt, slow, but sure.

I did the same thing two years ago. I was going to put four together, border it and make a throw, but then I used one for a round robbin with some friends. I bordered one myself for a wall hanging, and I still have two. Maybe future round robins!

If your heart is not in it right now, set it aside and come back to it later. I often find I need to stop bigger projects for a short while and do a small project in between. Makes it easier for me to get re-motivated to finish the big project.

They are pretty blocks. Maybe a wall hanging.

They would be great centers for a Round Robin project< If you don't want to get involved in a group project, make your own round robin. Just keep adding borders until you are happy with the size. I would stick to the two colors but you can bring in some different reds and whites.
