This quilt I made from test stitch outs I made from testing my digitizing skills. I digitized the embroidery designs on the computer, would stitch them out to check for errors, and then use the good stitch out for photos and such. When I was done with the entire alphabet I didn't know what to do with all the stitch outs. This was my final idea, make a Holiday Tree, and then put it into a quilt. It was used well, and then everyone in the household over the winter months would fight over rights to it. Then about 6 yrs ago I moved and lost track of the quilt, as the move was sudden. Recently I have moved and during this move, I have found it! It's a bit worse for wear, but I she repair it, wash it up well, and have it ready for any one who is mighty chilled. The batting is a double layer of thinsulate. As for the couple areas of what ever is the white strips on the dk green, I've no idea. I don't care, I've found my favorite of all time quilts and will live with that minor imperfection!

That is a great idea for an alphabet quilt. I love it. Hope you are able to fix it. Most treasures are not made with perfection but love.

A double layer of thinsulate sounds good to me here in Wisconsin.
