This quilt was made by the Springfield Southern Baptist Church Acteens as our "Mission Quest: Creativity" project in honor and memory of Lois Phillips, WMU President and beloved churchmother. It has been donated for auction at the Baptist Children's Home 12th Annual Fall Festival and Quilt Auction on September 17.

The top consists of 75 pairs of blocks, cotton and flannal, the batting is extra loft polyester, and the back is anti-pill fleece.

Thanks for looking :) Please, keep the auction in your prayers; all proceeds from the weekend kiosks, silent auction, and quilt auction to the children's home.

Good Job Acteens! I hope your quilt raises a lot of money for the Children's Home.

Wow. Thanks to all and for the PMs about giving to the Home. I will try and answer all, but will post here as well.

There is an online giving option at https://app.etapestry.com/hosted/BaptistChildrensHome/OnlineGiving.html]https://app.etapestry.com/hosted/Bap...ineGiving.html[/url]

    OR

a check can be made out to Baptist Children's Home and mailed to

    949 County Rd. 1300 N.
    Carmi, IL 62821

Either way, mention the Quilting Board and or the SSBC Acteens. Not so the girls get credit, but I talked to the coordinator and he's as overwhelmed by your generosity as I am, and they like to know how you heard about them.

Showers of Blessings on all of you! :)
