    Default Anchors Away Embroidered quilt

I finished this quilt last week. The anchors are machine embroidery applique. The pattern is called Perfectly Imperfect. It is perfect for all kinds of applique. I added the appliqued bunting blocks in the border to use the scraps left from the strip piecing from the quilt top.

OMG!! Love it!! My son is in the Navy and my DIL wants a Navy-theme quilt for their one year old son. This helps put some ideas into my head.

The pattern comes with several drawings to use for the applique, but I wanted to use my embroidery machine. I found this great anchor at Applique Chick
    http://appliquechick.com/products/82...-applique.aspx
It comes in several sizes, I used the 8x8 hoop size.
