    You saved the panel and made a beautiful quilt from it. Someone who served in the army will be thrilled when they receive it. Great job. I love it!

    First let me say that your quilt turned out beautifully! It's bold and distinguished like many of the veterans. I am definitely going to try to keep your idea for this design in my head because as someone mentioned "you made lemonade from lemons"! I might even have some fabric where the blocks do not appear square and might be able to fix that with your technique. Thanks for posting and describing what you did.

    It sure is a fantastic quilt! I'm glad you took the time to make the fabric useable for this quilt. What are you putting on the back?

    When I hand off to another member we will decide but I’m thinking the dark blue.
