    You did a fabulous job...great pattern and lovely batiks. I can see some pretty nice feathers in your quilting.

    Oh that's a pretty quilt and pretty fabric! I remember watching the Midnight Quilt show too and saw that episode. Maybe I'lll make that one some day too!

    That quilt and the colors are so, so pretty. Your sister will love it. If you were modeling it after the midnight quilt show you probably were sipping your glass of wine while sewing, lol. Great job.

    This always amazed me.
    We piece totally by machine, quilt by machine and sew the top binding by machine, but the back has to be hand stitched! There are so many methods to sewing the binding by machine. I use the one that is a sid on top, but an even straight stitch on the back. It's the Martelli binding system. (There is a learning curve) Many videos on it. Very professional looking.
