This is another treasure I found in a thrift store.I wish I had remembered the store and location of the ones I have found but was remiss and didn't keep track of them carefully.

This is really pretty but is in need for repair in six or seven places. The fabric is quite thin. I would like to long arm quilt it at some point. It is hand pieced but I am not good at hand quilting.

Any ideas on the age looking at the fabrics?

Beautiful quilt I would think the fabrics are early fiftys.

Some of the prints look like feed/flour sack fabric.
    Maybe 1940's'.

Looks to be somewhere in the 30's or early 40's. I like the layout of the 9 patch block. It has a very homey look with the colors and prints. A nice find!!!

I think I would take the quilt apart and use the good pieces and create a new quilt.

Beautiful. The fabrics look late 30's early 40's to me.

I LOVE the old, old quilts best... but enjoy making quilts, too. Yours is a beauty!
