Default Baby quilt for great granddaughter

Getting ready for my third great grand baby! I saw a quilt made like this one on Pinterest, fell in love with it; so dug through my scraps for bright colors. I used Hobbs bleached cotton batting and the quilting pattern "Diamonds are Forever". This was so much fun that I made two of them while I had the fabrics out.

I love it! I spent a couple hours last night trying to find a pattern for some fabric I have. I think this idea will work nicely! I’ve got some cute focal fabric that I didn’t want to cut too small and seven other coordinating fabrics in a bundle I bought. How big is your finished quilt? Mine will be for my new grandson coming in April.

It is a fun quilt, isn't it. Congratulations on the birth of your great grand daughter.
