    Default Batik Square

Maria C. asked to see a picture of my avatar - I don't know how to answer her directly so I hope she checks "pictures". This is made mostly with batiks from Connecting Threads. I started with a 2-1/2" square and bordered it twice - light, dark, light then reversed. It is not quilted yet as I can't make up my mind on a design. thanks for asking.

Beautiful. The pattern is a wonderful way to show off all those vibrant batiks.

Great quilt top! Is the border pieced or is it printed fabric? It's very pretty. I can't seem to answer P.M. correctly either.

The border is not pieced - I bought that batik as a backing for another quilt. I wish I had of bought twice as much. It goes with every colour.

Love the effect you got with the alternating darks and lights. Nice quilt
