I was in a swap and sent two small quilted wall hangings to the gal to decorate her cube at work...
It was my first time doing paper piecing. I learned a lot along the way. It was pretty frustrating. I did a lot of ripping since I didn't match of the fabrics properly and was lacking coverage here or there... but after 4 tries I had 2 blocks done! (yay....)

I will do paper piecing again but next time I'll cut the fabric much larger than I need to so that I don't have as much frustration along the way..!

I've only tried paper piecing a couple of times - I was so surprised at how much fabric it seemed to take -

Cute kitties. I love pp, but it does take a certain mind set to get in the groove. :?

Love your kitties. I have a mental block with paper piecing. Once I get the first couple fabrics on I am ok.
