What a pretty tote, love the colors and fabric. I'm glad that you and your daughter got to spend such quality time together. I tried teaching my daughter to sew, however, she wasn't interested, but she had no problem picking out fabrics and choosing patterns to make clothing for her. She did make a charm quilt her Sr. year in high school while home recovering from chicken pox (at least her prom dress covered up the majority and make up did the rest, so she could attend her prom), and even sewed some of it together, and I got it quilted one week after she started college. At least she has an appreciation for all the things I make.

What a great present. I am so sorry that I don't have a daughter to pass on my love of quilting. My son has no interest and so far no grandbabies on the horizon. The time spent together sharing is precious.
