All were made from the pattern "The Big Block Quilt Pattern", designed by Minay Studios from Black Cat Creations. If interested in the pattern and you can't find it in your LQS, you can put the title in your internet search engine and find it on-line.

    Re. What is "Minkee"?

Difficult to explain. It is sort of like short pile fleece. Very textural and soft. Came in 60" width and can be expensive ($16/yard). However, I participated in a LQS scavenger hunt. The prize was 10 yards of fabric at each quilt shop for half price. When I claimed my prize at one quilt shop I purchased the Minkee fabric at half price so $8/yd. Minkee comes in smooth and different textures. If you google it on-line you could see pictures of the different textures.

I've heard Minkee is very hard to work with! Your quilting looks great on it. Did you do your own quilting? If so, do you quilt for others?
