    well, I thought they were both black fabrics. Couldn't sleep last night so got up and cut the 5" x 9" rectangles and cut the 2.5" x 9" sash this morning. However, when I went to sew the sash strips to the rectangles, I noticed that the zig-zags were a very dark midnight blue! Oh well, no one will notice!

    The black background has small white arrows, I don't think you can see them in the pix.
