Default Blitzen - my first wool applique

This is my first attempt at wool applique. I wasn't sure I was going to like doing it since it's hand sewn. For better or worse - I LOVED IT!

Pattern is: Skinnies "Blitzen" by Front Porch Quilts.

That is adorable. I've been wanting to try wool applique too - but don't want to start gathering yet more supplies. I need to use up what I have!

How very cute. I am so glad you really loved doing it. It is refreshing to try something new from time to time. I have a desire to do it-but I think it needs to get in line for attention-if you know what I mean.

Blitzed is adorable. Yes, the wool appliqué bug sneaks up on you. It's something I can do in the same room with my DH watching tv. Lol
