BOM Calendar Girls

I thoroughly enjoyed embroidering this cute quilt. I looked forward to each month when I received the new block. The gal that quilted it for me loved it so much (she has three granddaughters) that she wanted to buy it. That was quite the compliment.

What a cute quilt! Is this like red work....with threads? It is hard to see the details, maybe post one close up photo.
