    I am planning on doing Henryetta's Whickets. So far have just collected the 2 patterns. Bunny Hill BOM are so cute.

    Beautiful work. I have seen the website for the birds (peacocks?) and thought about trying it, but it looks very, very challenging.

    To answer your questions: I only do machine applique. I usually buttonhole stitch around each piece. The folk art types will be in black thread and the others will be in thread to match the pieces or transparent thread.

    I am using fabrics from my scrap basket as much as possible or from my stash. I may need to buy fabrics for borders.

    All these BOMs finish at different times.

    I have four more started but couldn't get the pictures posted. Will try again later.
    I worry that the transparent thread won't last...
    These are so wonderful, that once they get put up on a wall
    they will stay there for a very long time!

    they are all very pretty, I'm still working on my UFO for february---hope to get it done this weekend.
