    Default Boomerang 5.0 Quilt

I found out at Thanksgiving that a dear family friend, who is 83, has cancer and has started chemo/radiation treatments. I decided that I wanted to make her a lap quilt, but with the holidays, was short on time. So I went to my stash of Boomerang 5.0 quilt blocks. I put this together and gave it to her on Christmas day. She was so overwhelmed, and had tears in her eyes. I was so thankful I had those blocks handy.....thank you fellow participants!

The quilt is beautiful. Having a stash of blocks is a wonderful idea. They can be finished faster that way for a gift.
