    These are amazing pieces of art work. But I don't understand what you are doing. Is there a video or link you can give to explain? Are you cutting tiny pieces, gluing them in place then free hand embroidering over them?

    Essentially yes. Check my blog, July 2013 I usually try to show what I've done with this type of piece. Dec 2012 "comedians in the forest" also gives you an example of the steps. Then it's all machine thread painted.

    Great little quilts. Amazing. I have really no idea how that type of quilt is made, but I love them! Beautiful effect.
