    All I can say is that this quilt has already built a magnificent story in the life it has led so far. Hope you can write it down for posterity!

    WOW! That is one gorgeous quilt. It is one of the prettiest scrappy quilts I've seen--but I love the dramatic,and black does that trick. A tag sale at Joan Kesslers???? That must have been hitting the jackpot. That would make my day...week...year!...at a minimum a highlight of my memories! Thanks for posting, thanks for resurrecting it from the muck!
