Default Calling this one my Florida quilt

I started this...made one block...in Florida in 2011. Before I really get into Bonnie Hunter's new mystery I promised myself I'd finish this UFO. Ran out of the green back ground. Ordered twice on line and each one was not right but decided to use anyway. The flowers were faced with interfacing, the interfacing snipped and turned right side up; then appliqued onto 16 inch squares. Then echo quilted around. It took 1 large spool and 3+ small spools of thread. Blocks put together using Ditter's quilt as you go method. Thanks, Ditter!

Very pretty and great colors. Good for it to be done.

I really like the way you used all the different greens in the background. It really adds some interest to the quilt. And I am a sucker for flowers. Your applique turned out really good and so did your quilting. Great job!!!
