    An interesting design, and what a treasure to have. Looks like it is in great condition.

    When I look between the two, they look different.....
    The suggested link shows the feathers with individual pieces and background showing between.
    Whereas this one has a solid feather on the background.

    I won't say this is not Princess Feather ... but to me that is a big difference.
    However, quilt patterns often do have many different variations to them, too.

    Thank y'all ever so much for your kind and quick responses! My friend will be thrilled that his mystery has been solved. I do so wish I was a quilter. I own a few from my grandmother that I have kept put away for safe keeping, and one I keep on my bed, but I absolutely know nothing about quilting myself.     Beautiful quilt and I agree with everyone else-looks like Princess Feather pattern. What a treasure
