It looks great and the sky fabric was jsut the right touch! It looks like wispy clouds or fog moving in. Great job! :!:

Looks cool. Will you be satin stitching around the applique? I'm not going to on mine. I'm really, really not good at it and don't want to screw up this wall hanging. But if you're good at it, I bet it would be beautiful to finish the edges of the applique. Either way though, it will look nice.

Yes, beetle--I am going to do the satin stitch around it. My new machine has it, but I have to practice on something first. I'm going to free motion quilt it, too, but again, I'm not ready to touch this with my inexperience yet! :roll:

Bev--I can get the website for you when I go home. It's an $8 pattern.
