    I had some chicken fabric left over from last year so i made two placemats and matching coasters to go along with the cat left overs quilt i just made for a friend.
    on the placemats i quilted 1/4 inside the borders, then quilted a hexagon in the center. doesn't show though. then 1/4 around the outside edges too.

    I also made some large coasters/hot pads with bluejay fat quarter.

    Those are all so cool. I love the hot pad with the blue jays. What a practical idea.
