So glad to see your project. I have done plain cross stitch on gingham many years ago. I just purchased a pink and white check apron with the cross stitch on the pockets and across the bottom in a star pattern.

I had an apron when I was a little girl that had my name done on it in chicken scratch! Very neat quilt!

I have done chicken scratch before and it is beautiful when completed. You use 1/4 or 1/2" gingham. It is very time consuming but there are many different designs available. Yours is beautiful. I did one in lavendar with dark purple and white embroidery. Congrats on a job well done.

Oh yes, I have made several baby quilts with one big "snowflakeing" heart. I like that name the best, I know it was called Chicken scratch when it made a comeback in the 80's but it is too lovely to be called that. I have lots of patterns. Love your quilt.

Yes, I've done it & love doing it. I've made 3 pillows. You did a great job. I would love to do a 3 block table runner but have so many irons in the fire I drive myself crazy.

Wow! How long did it take you to do those stars! This is something I'd like to try, but I think it would take me forever. 8-)
