This was my "first" attempt at piecing together more than just 6" squares. I got the pattern from Super Simple Quilts #1. The pattern is Twist and Turn. Now I just need to decide what to do with it... it is "crib size", but I don't know if I should add some sashing and make it like a table topper or what.
    Any ideas?
    Enjoy

It definately needs at least a border-I would add a narrow border first (say, 1/1/2 ") in maybe the darkest color on that green print(can't tell if it is black or dark green), then a wider border (maybe 4") in a red print. Looks nice! I think since it is with Xmas fabs, maybe make it either a small table topper or wall quilt.
Be sure to use your rotary cutter and ruler to trim around the edges to make them even before sewing any border.

Yea it needs sashing, maybe a red and green both. Beautiful though.

I agree. I think two borders would add a lot of visual interest. It would be pretty hanging on a wall!
