What a stunning interpretation of a traditional block layout! This is so perfect and the fabrics speak out so clearly as if they were made just for this pattern. Job very well done. This will be the star gift for any wedding!

The block pattern fits the fabric and what a lovely quilt! Using the repro fabrics gives the project a timeless value.

Beautiful quilt! I love CW fabrics and am working on a sampler quilt made of them.

I have never been fond of civil war fabrics but I love this quilt. And the colors are growing on me.
You done a great job! It’s gorgeous!

Absolutely beautiful quilt. I love CW fabrics and have plenty. You did wonderful workmanship. This pattern is perfect for the fabrics. Is the pattern called Album quilt? I just think it is stunning and your grandson will treasure this quilt.

I didn’t really use a pattern, I just used 2 1/2 inch blocks and went by the pictures of others. I thought it was called granny squares. Thank you, it was my first time to work with CW fabrics. I was a little nervous of just which block or pattern to use, because I wanted to please the one who gave me the CW scraps.

Barbara Brackman's Encyclopedia identifies the block as 2815d, "The Garden Patch" It's not in the EQ block library, unfortunately.

I had Block Base on my old computer, but I can't get it to install right on Windows 10, so I can't print it out. If someone is able to send me the .blk file for that block, I would be so appreciative.

I keep looking at this quilt and it's just charming in all these CW prints!
