My grandson came to visit and I was emptying some totes of fabric and he saw this fabric. Told me I should make a purse from it. So toying with the idea, I decided to do just that. I also am in the process of making one that has the red in place of the black. I also added a zipper part above the open pockets on the inside. I think the next one I make for myself I will make it a little taller. The outside pockets are not tall enough for my sunglasses, and I need then almost 24/7.

I put pockets on both sides of the outside. I covered a button with the quilted black to match.

Your grandson has good taste and a good eye, that's beautiful.

    thank you.

You should see him go through my fabric. He puts the designs and colors together and tells me to make a quilt from them. And if it isn't a quilt he wants boxers!!
