I used the info on About.com:crochet
How to crochet a basic oval shape and oval rag rug pattern

I'd put a link in here but I do not know how to do that

I would not sell these to strangers. Give them as Christmas or birthday presents to family members where they will be cherished for generations to come. These are really great looking rugs!

    Hi Sue,
Another great finish to a project. Talented lady that you are... :~) Now lets see a purse made like this! It would be great for a summer bag with some cute wooden handles.

What size strips did you use? I have a pattern and they call for 2 1/2 ". Is that what you used? I love them.

That is a LOT OF SCRAPS!! I am slowly working on one from scraps I don't think I will want to use later for something else, and the farther out you crochet, the faster a long scrap of fabric gets used, I found. But, they are so soft once they are done.

Yours are really nice. Love them
