    You did a wonderful job. What a nice heirloom for your daughter, and so nice that you have a hope chest for her. I am relatively young (46) and I had a hope chest. I gather they were standard for most girls at one time. I still have many of the things that were in the chest, as well as the chest itself, which was my coffee table for many years.
