    Default DGS first quilt

My 12 year old grandson and his first quilt. Blue Ribbon at the County Fair!! I am so proud of him, he did this all, even the machine quilting, and the binding. I am amazed at his strait stitches!!

So happy to see not only a young person, but a male child as well, learning and enjoying sewing. So happy he was also rewarded with a blue ribbon to boot.

That's great. You never know where this will lead. My father-in-law made my wedding gown. The skirt was tiers of lace. He was a policeman. He bought the sewing machine for his wife but she didn't use it. So he made sewing his hobby. lol
