    This is done in strips.. You cut the strips to length and sew them sidebyside.. after of course you match up the pattern in four repeats of fabric.

    Lovely, I can only suggest stitch in the ditch on the sashing, & a flowery pattern on the borders maybe. I'm not much help with the quilting.
    Could you show a close up of the blocks please?
