    Default Dish towel quilt

This is one of my Mother's dish towels. This is the third chicken. I think blue would look good in my sister's kitchen. On another one I did a geometric for my brother. Cindy Needham did a book on quilts using beautiful linens. My Mom didn't have any of those so I am using what she had and used. All of us kids remember these towels hanging in the kitchen.

It is painted. Most quilters quilt first and then paint. I paint first and quilt later.

Great idea. Cute chicken! I just took Cindy Needham's class on Crafts and can't wait to get started on a small linen piece. She is such a great teacher.
