    I have seen this block but cannot remember the name. Anyone know it? Thanks.

    It looks like Fifty-four Forty, or Fight without the four patches in the corners and the center and using the same fabric for the center as you do the stars.

    Eleanor Burns has a book with the same block, and she calls it "Tennessee Waltz." I've made it. She even has a special template to make those star points. I have that too.

    I have just watched her shows showing how to make this quilt. I taped it!

    I found this. It would work. Just use the same fabric for the center block as the star points.
