Beautiful! I got some templates for this last year and haven't played yet. I like your idea of making the blocks then playing with the layout - I see you did all the 'outies' coloured and the 'innies' cream but apart from that, is it scrappy? I'm thinking I might do this with my batik scraps.

Love them both, great job! Can't imagine how you get all this done in such a short time. The yellow baby quilt is just adorable.

Elaine, I get up in the morning, usually a couple of hours ahead of my husband..make my coffee..get on the puter to check email then right to the quilting board then right to my sewing machine..sometimes I just don't make it away from my sewing machine lol..I have a rug loom so it gets my attention in the evening when I am watching tv..I have a fabric addiction lol. I won the busy bee award at our quilt guild this year..I am fortune enough not to have to work and take in some quilting to help with my addiction.

Course they are, stupid me. In my defence it was first thing here and I hadn't had my coffee yet. But thanks for answering, I think I'll dig my templates out when I finished my current project and have a go at some of those batik scraps - half and half cream and coloured! :D

Your quilts are stunning! I can understand why it broke your heart to see them go! I would feel the same way too!
