    Default Eagle Silhouette

I took a class on painting with thickened dyes and "invented" a technique where I could draw a continuous color changing line. So I made fabric with a dyed red, orange, yellow stipple line.

Then I quilted in all the white space a continuous stipple with one section of pebbling.

I over dyed with a pale orange so the white quilting showed.

But something was missing. So finally I used a photo my husband took and finished the wall hanging. I'm so happy with it!

Photos show finished (needs binding or facing) and post quilting pre over dye.

Well done! I love eagles, but doubt if I would attempt even a silhouette of one.
