    It turned out terrific, and does look like a winner of a pattern for a beginner. ( or a person like me who needs instant gratification!)

    That is just beautiful. I recognized the line from Connecting Threads. It's so striking. I love black, white and red. You did a wonderful job on it and thanks for sharing.

    All of the red fabric is from the line, but the others were mine. I guess this was a very popular line because there are like 4 or 5 fabrics from the line that are no longer pictured for sale as yardage on the site!
