Default Electrical box cover -- weekend project

The electrical switch box for my apartment is in my sewing room/guest bedroom. It's really ugly and I'm tired of looking at it. So, this weekend I whipped up something to cover it with. I used scraps left over from the quilt in my avatar. I didn't quilt it--or even use batting. I just put muslin on the back and bound it so technically it's not a quilt. But I'll be so much happier looking at this than that ugly electrical box! Need to get something to hang it with.

Love the look, so bright and cheery. But I am not sure you can hang it over the electrical box - it's against the building code here as it's a fire hazard. It might be safer to hang somewhere else.

So pretty. I would love to cover that ugly electrical box that stares at me everyday but
    I don't think I would be allowed. <sigh>
