    Beautiful quilt! I love to see how others do family tree quilts. My avatar is the family tree quilt I made in 2002 for my parents 50th anniversary.

    What a thoughtful co-worker and skilled too. Love your rendition and final quilt. I, too, think the heart and the birds add a special little touch. I'm sure they will be touched and tears will flow.

    That is so awesome of a quilt you made. If I was to make a family tree quilt of my family, lets say it would be a super king size quilt with the tree starting on the front and wrapping around back of the quilt.

    I love the simplicity of this family tree. Your applique certainly doesn't look like your first try. You did fantastic & the quilting is beautiful also. Your co-worker should really be pleased with this.
