    Default Finally finished....Out of Darkness

Several years ago, I visited my daughter in Texas. Of course, I had to check out local fabric and quilt shops and fell in love with this block of the month. It is a Pam Bono pattern titled, "Out of Darkness". I can not believe how much time I have invested in piecing this top.
    What do you think?
    I need quilting ideas.
    Thanks.

Beautiful quilt. I'm going to try one of her patterns someday. From the looks of yours it will be well worth it.

a fine quilt top. I think stippling inside each block, making the appliques stand out, then vines or feathers between.

You did a great job on your BOM -- I would like to try one of Pam Bono's quilts -- she seems to have a different take on the borders, etc. Your colors really pop on the black. Don't have a clue about the quilting -- but I'm sure it will be beautiful!

Love the quilt . What is the pattern called, or is it only done as block of the month?

This is beautiful. I love Pam Bono patterns. I have trouble deciding on quilting designs too. Will be looking forward to seeing this finished.
