I think it's been years since anyone came out with a group of Mardi-Gras themed fabrics! Blank Quilting just posted these on their site. I'm not sure if these are "future" or "ready now"... but I'll definitely have to order these for the store.

Clearly, the masks and the beads are the most important ones.

Are there any that you *don't* like? Or don't think are necessary to putting together a nice little group?

Those fabrics will go over big in my neck of the woods! I like them all. My favorite are the feathers and dots.

These are great! We can't get enough Mardi Gras fabric in Louisiana. The chain stores don't order it and the quilt shops are few and far between.

Hmmm... do you think any of these would be a good addition to the group? They're by Exclusively Quilters / Classic Cottons.

The first one seems to be the right colors.

As for the other two, not being from Louisiana I don't know... are these good right colors? For Fleur-de-lis designs, I mean. Are they colors of the New Orleans Saints? (Oh, now you can tell I don't follow football either...)

I wonder if the Masks would be good for 1 block wonder?

I live in Louisiana & a few of the LQS sell these fleur de lis fabrics. I can't wait to find the mardi gras stuff :o)

    Thanks!

I really like the instrument/music in general - it's so fun! If it were something that I had been looking for for a while, I would get sucked in and get some of all of them!

It's all pretty. The only one that I would buy would be the feathers - they are absolutely gorgeous!
