I know you used 5" charm squares for this beautiful quilt and a turnover for the pieced outer border...can you tell me what size you cut your white and red borders? I just love this quilt!

The white (it's actually cream and mottled tan) borders are 1 inches and the red is 3 inches. The charms and turnovers were given to me and I know there was a full charm pack and I think more than 1 pack of turnovers but I can't remember exactly. It's moda "Wildflower Serenade"
I almost left it at the red border but felt it was too small for a lap quilt so I left it for a few days before the idea of another white border before the turnovers struck. It may be called the 10 minute block but it took a lot longer than that for creative juices to flow

You did a great job finishing up. The original post pics don't do it justice. The final pic is really nice and a good quilt style and colors and blending.

You never know. But the folks in the know (on the board) seem to be able to steer us poor newbies in the right direction.

I am working on one with the 10 inch squares and am really enjoying it. I make up my own combination and like the way it is turning out. It is only taking 9 squares to make since they are so big.I am making a throw size for a birthday gift for a friend.

In the event that you do hear of a raffle, just keep me in mind, thanks!

Like the colors and the piecing. Your quilting design for this is right on the money and looks wonderful.
