    Ok finally finished my first quilt. What do you think?

    Also made a little pillow to go with it.

    What do I think? I think I like it alot! Are those little blocks with the buttons appliqued on or pieced? :thumbup:

    I understand about the ties but I was interested in the blocks that are the same fabric as your binding. Are they appliqued on or pieced as part of a block?

    Oh! Now I get it! You stitched around the blocks after the quilt was sandwiched! New technique for me. I like it!
