LOL Judy - the only reason this one got done like it did was because I got laid off. I had to explain to DH not to expect this kind of production all of the time  Doing it actually did make me feel better though!

Wow! I really like your table set up and the throw looks great!

Ask your DH if he needs another throw...I'd like my machine to have a home like that

Oh How SweeT it IS! (Jackie gleason style of yelling it here)

He did a great job. I think your time was just as well rewarded as his.

I was just thinking about buying a piece of plexiglass to try and make one of those inserts from my machine bed last night. You know the ones on legs? I saw where some of the girls were making thier own rulers and templets from the open stock at home depot/Lowe's. ??? But it gave me the same idea. I don't like the idea of paying a hundred dollars for something I could make with a little time and money.

Thanks for showing a pic. I likey very much!

Gertie looks queenly there--on her throne. :D

May I see the whole quilt top again--It's okay if it's on your DH when you get the photo.

You guys are cracking me up tonight - must be the fumes from all the fabric I've been playing with today  I have to keep DH away from this thread - I'll have to cut out a bigger front door for his expanding head!

Sandpat, we just used one of the computer tables we had. He cut the hole, braced the table and added a shelf that adjusts with wingnuts so we could get it right without all the fuss. He cut the acrylic with his scroll saw and a really fine blade - sure beat the price of ordering one

Here's a pic of the top on the wall, Karla - dogonne thing is too heavy to hang up there now, and to big to get a good pic of the whole thing on the bed. It is a really simple pattern - layer cakes made into hourglass units, and the charm pack made into 4 squares. Added the border (9 inches to match the 4 patches in each corner) and done!
