Default first attempts at art quilts

Finished a class in art quilts. The instructor was great, abstract and her work amazing. We had to do a still life, a full figure, a landscape, a portrait and another of your choice in 8 weeks. All are finished except the portrait which needssome work on the hair. My work leaves much to be desired but I hung in there and met the challenge! Thanks for looking!

They look great! I've never done any of this kind of sewing before. Looks interesting. I may have to try it sometime.

This sounds like a great class, and you've accomplished a lot. I like the glass globe on your lamp in the still life. Can you tell us who the instructor was?

Great work! These would be a real challenge for me! Congrats on making the effort and succeeding! I admire fabric art, just don't have the ability..would love to take a class on it.
