    I see you are from Louisiana. I'm so glad this quilt (and you?!) were not damaged in the horrific flooding your area has endured. Thanks for sharing.

    I actually quilted on this in tears. Could not get mom out of her street. The river is between our homes, all I could do was wait. She lost all,and has moved in with us.

    The fabric colors and pattern are so striking and pretty that I don't think that the unmatched seams matter much. What a joy for your cousin!

    The quilting is perfect with the quilt.
    I am so sorry to hear of your mother's loss and all the adjustments your family, including your mother, will need to make.

    It reminded me immediately of propellers and I wonder if WWI or WWII was inspiration for it. Just a thought.
