Thanks all. It is, I think a 4 patch but in fact they are triangles, not squares so there is the element of bias edges to deal with. Other than that, since it put them on point, it was a challenge to get the corners and side pieces.
I'll see if I can add a picture of the original print, it is very pretty in it's self.

This is gorgeous! I would have been so hesitant to cut it, but you did a wonderful job! Does your pattern have a name since it sounds different from the 4patch poise?
