    A little bit of tooting my own horn; I'm very proud of this one! The layout is nothing special. What I am proud of is the stitching of the woodgrain. Each block was carefully machine stitched with just a plain ole brother and the regular sewing foot. No pre marking, no pattern. I free-handed it! Ton of work, but I'm proud nonetheless.

    That is awesome. It looks like some of the designs that Leah Day displays on her free motion website. I really like her work. Thanks for sharing with us.

    I have not been a fan of using plain fabric, but you may have just converted me.
