    This is machine pieced and hand quilted..... sister insists its state fair time........... so I am entered we will see....

    That's a pattern I've always shied away from because I thought it was too challenging. How would you rate it difficulty-wise?

    Beautiful! The Giant Dahlia is the whole reason that I got started in quilting. I loved the one I had seen and decided that I wanted to learn to do that. I have yet to make one but seeing yours gives me hope...... I'm betting it receives high marks! Wonderful job!!
