    I forgot to add the pertinent facts. The batting is Quilters Dream Green, earth friendly polyester batting made 100% from recycled plastic bottles. The Girl Scouts are big into the recycling thing so I thought it appropriate. It is very nice to work with, easy to machine quilt. I quilted it with a design I adapted from an old embroidery disk, all on the embroidery machine. There are some tension issues on the back in places. I am surprised at how heavy it is, but I think she will love it.
